SURVEY, STUDY AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS

Survey a research method involving the use of questionnaires and/or statistical surveys to gather data about people and their thoughts and behaviours. Pragya Social Organization (Previously Pragya Samiti) completed various researches, survey and studies related projects with many organizations in Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Pragya Social Organization (Previously Pragya Samiti) has also partnered with Frameworks, Bhopal for its Survey and Study related programs. We also feed data, compile, analyze and create report of data related with evaluation, social audit, study and survey programs.

KEY PROJECTS :

Following are major programs which have done by organization – 

A). ITC-BAIF – Study for Cattle Development Center developed by BAIF under SUNEHRA KAL program in 17 CDC’s with 17000 households in 4 districts (Bhopal, Sehore, Vidisha, Guna) in Madhya Pradesh.

B). DEBATE, BHOPAL – Undertook survey work in Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, Chanpa, Janjgir, Korba and Jashpur Districts in Chhattisgarh for the District Human Development Report of Ministry of Human Resources Development.

C). REACH INDIA FOUNDATION –Evaluation study regarding NREGA with SHG’s under Freedom from Hunger Scheme, USA.

D). REACH INDIA FOUNDATION – Undertook NGO mapping program in Madhya Pradesh.

E). WORLDVISION – ADP Bhopal (Area Development Program) in District Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh.

F). ACCESS, BHOPAL – Socio Economic Study on Bell Metal Craft of 650 artesian in Kondagaon, District – Bastar (Chhattisgarh).

G). UDYOGINI – Study on NTFP at Chaibasa district of Jharkhand.

H). PRADAN – Impact Assessment study for SRI PRADAN at Nalanda and Gaya districts in Bihar.

I). PRADAN – Value chain study have done on Tusser at Banka district in Bihar and Dumka, Godda, Saraikela district in Jharkhand.

J). ACCESS, BHOPAL – Study on NTFP in Mandla district In Madhya Pradesh.

K). PRADAN – Impact Assessment study for SRI with PRADAN at Mandla district Madhya Pradesh.

L). MOSER BAER – The survey and study presents the status of relevant aspect of the communities in the three villages of Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh defines impacts of the project and provides livelihood intervention options for 1000 households of Scheduled Tribes. The study also covers the implementation and monitoring mechanism for project implementation.

M). BAIF – Value chain study by BAIF for Groundnut, Cotton, Maize and Paddy in Nandoorbar and Dhule Districts in Maharashtra.

N). SAMBODHI – Monitoring & Evaluation of Works of Forest Department on Concurrent Monitoring & Evaluation Report of CAMPA funded APO 2010-11 and 2011-12 Works of Forest Department in All districtsofUttarakhand State.

O). Micro Technologies Mumbai India Ltd – Environmental Based Assessment of School buildings under Sarv Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) in 11 districts of Jharkhand State. Pragya Samiti has done GPS Tracking of School buildings.

P). SERDO (Socio Economic Research & Development Organization), New Delhi – National Level Monitoring for Ministry of Rural Development in 4 District (Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Jabalpur and Dindori) of Madhya Pradesh.

Q). ASA (Action for Social Advancement), Bhopal – Pragya Samiti has done the survey of 400 farmers selected (by using random sampling method of selection) from the periphery of 12-15 project villages of ASA from each project location namely Norowjabad, Budhar, Anuppur, Pushprajgarh, Thandla, Pitol, Jobat, Nanpur blocks and clusters of ASA Project districts of Madhya Pradesh.

R). Prime M2i Consulting Pvt Ltd, Faridabad – SIDBI and DFID have commissioned to Grameen Foundation India to prepare Poverty Outreach Reports for the Four States of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Orrisa and Uttar Pradesh under the PSIG Project.

As part of the data collection for study, Microfinance clients form across these states will be surveyed by enumerators from M2i and Pragya Samiti. As agreed by all participating MFIs, the enumerators will visit the selected MFI branches and will conduct survey randomly selected 25-40 first loan cycles.

We have done this study program starting by Uttar Pradesh (29 Districts) from August 21st  2014. We have completed this study in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar & Orrisa.  This survey program was finished within 4 months with data entry.

S). PWC, New Delhi – We have doneData collection and compilation of Drill-down Case Studies of Existing Business Correspondent and Business Correspondent (BC) Model in Madhya Pradesh for PWC

T). DPIP, Bhopal – We have done DPIP Value Chain Study in Shivpuri & Sagour Districts of Madhya Pradesh. Study was given by DPIP, Bhopal. This Value Chain Study for DPIP Funded Program of Dairy & Turmeric for Year 2013-14. Mr. Vivek Guar is Program Evaluator for this program.

U). Prime M2i Consulting Pvt Ltd, Faridabad – We have done household interviews and FGDs of beneficiaries of HPPI funded project in 60 villages53 villages in Alwar district and 7 villages in Sikar district. We have covered 250 beneficiaries.

V). PWC, New Delhi – We have doneData collection and data compilation for impact assessment of development projects implemented by Lupin Foundation at Dhule (Maharashtra) and Bharatpur (Rajasthan). We have done this assignment for PWC. We have covered 800 beneficiaries in this study.

W). Prime M2i Consulting Pvt Ltd, Faridabad – We have done baseline and postline studies for water and sanitation programs of MFIs (SIDUR, ODP, MYTHRI) in Telangana, Tamilnadu and Karnataka States. We have covered 2100 beneficiaries in this study.

T). UNICEF, Bhopal – We have done a detailed Study of SMCs(School Management Committee) of Government Primary and Middle Schools in 10 Districts of Madhya Pradesh for UNICEF. In this Study we have covered 10 Development Blocks of 10 districts and have done study of 40 Schools in each block. RTE (Right To Education) Awareness was main focus of this study program.
